Opening Times
New Road Day Nursery is open all year round from Monday to Friday except Xmas and Bank holidays.
The Nursery is open from 8.00 to 6.00 with a flexible approach to suit your needs based around our standard short day 9.00 til 3.00 or an extended day 8.00 til 6.00. Therefore the minimum day for under 3's is 6 hours and for children in receipt of the Free Entitlement we can provide flexible hours to suit your need from a minimum of 2.5 hours. However, please call to discuss specific requirements.

Employer's Vouchers
We are registered with a variety of voucher providers that enable you to pay for your childcare before tax straight from your salary. This saves both the employee and the employer money.
The 2004 Finance Act introduced a new tax exemption for employer-provided childcare vouchers. From 6 April 2006, employees can receive from their employers vouchers for childcare worth up to £55 a week and there will be no tax or NICs charge.

Free Entitlement
From 1st September 2009 all 3 - 4 year olds are entitled to up to 15 hrs of free flexibly delivered childcare for 38 weeks (The funding can be spread over 52 weeks). This is available from the term after their third birthday and is paid straight to the nursery of your choice. The nursery cannot charge you any more than the amount of the grant for that time. Additional services may be charged for E.G. Meals, outings etc.
